The way we architected the Luminext solution it allows you to start small and expand where it makes sense. To start saving energy and maintenance cost on your Street Lighting System and even improve safety there are various levels of implementation possible. Of course the full solution gives you all the benefits but if you implement part of the solution there are already significant advantages.

It is possible to start with just the segment controller and the software. This first step in your implementation already gives you the infrastructure to build a complete solution on and already offers a lot of savings and information you lack now. This implementation gives you the opportunity to schedule on/off per segment based on our astronomical/time-based scheduler. If you add metering to this solution the system gives accurate information about the power supply situation and the number of broken lamps and of course the energy used in your different segments.

If you want to keep your conventional ballast the LUMINYX OLC 120 offers the ability to switch lamps on/off and even dim 40%.
